1. Getting Started with Circlez
New to Circlez? Here's everything you need to know to get started:
Download the Circlez app from the App Store or Google Play Store. Sign up using your phone number for verification. You must be 18 or older to create an account. Complete your profile with photos and basic information to get started.
Circlez focuses on dating through trusted connections. Instead of swiping through strangers, you join "circles" created by friends, family, or trusted community members. This means you're meeting people who are already vouched for by someone you know and trust.
Add 2-6 high-quality photos that show your personality. Write a genuine bio that reflects who you are. Fill in optional details like education, work, interests, and values. Remember: your profile will be seen by people in your circles, so be authentic!
Required: Phone number (for verification), age (must be 18+), at least one photo, and basic profile information. Optional: Additional photos, detailed bio, education, workplace, interests, religion, and other personal preferences.
2. Account Management
Manage your account settings and privacy preferences:
Go to your Profile tab, and update any information you'd like to change. You can update photos, bio, interests, and other details anytime.
Go to Settings > Account > "Delete Account." This permanently removes your profile, messages, and all data from Circlez. This action cannot be undone. Consider pausing your profile first if you might want to return.
3. Creating and Joining Circles
Everything about circles - the heart of Circlez:
A circle is a curated group of single people created by a trusted "Circle Owner" - it can be a friend, community leader or an event organizer. Circle owners can share QR codes or invite specific people they know would be great matches for each other.
Friends, community leaders or event organizers who know you can create circles and invite you. You can also ask trusted people in your network if they know someone who owns a circle and can invite you.
Yes! If you know single people who would be great matches for each other, you can create a circle. Go to "Create Circle," choose the type of circle you want to create and add a name and description, then invite people you think would connect well.
There's no limit to how many circles you can be part of. However, we recommend focusing on circles created by people who truly know you and understand what you're looking for in a relationship. If you are an event organizer, you can create multiple circles for different events.
Yes, you can leave any circle at any time. Go to the circle's page and tap "Leave Circle." This won't notify other members, and you can always be re-invited by the circle owner.
4. Privacy and Safety
Your safety and privacy are our top priorities:
Tap the three dots on their profile or in your conversation, then select "Report." Choose the reason for reporting and provide details. We review all reports quickly and take appropriate action.
Go to their profile or conversation, tap the three dots, and select "Block." Blocked users can't see your profile, message you, or appear in your potential matches. This action is private - they won't be notified.
Circle creators can see your basic profile information when they invite you, similar to what other circle members see. They cannot see your private messages or activity with other users.
Always meet in public places for first dates. Tell a friend where you're going and who you're meeting. Trust your instincts - if something feels off, it's okay to leave. Consider video chatting before meeting in person.
If you feel unsafe, immediately remove yourself from the situation. Block and report the user in the app. For emergencies, contact local authorities. You can also reach out to our support team for assistance.
5. Technical Issues
Having trouble with the app? Here are solutions to common issues:
Ensure you have a stable internet connection. Check that Circlez has permission to access your photos in your phone settings. Photos should be under 10MB and in common formats (JPG, PNG). Try restarting the app if uploads fail.
Make sure you're entering the correct phone number. Check that you have good cell signal or WiFi connection. If you're not receiving the verification code, wait a few minutes and try again, or request a call instead of text.
Close other apps running in the background to free up memory. Restart the Circlez app. If your phone storage is nearly full, delete some files to improve performance. Consider updating to the latest version of the app.
We appreciate bug reports! Contact our support team with details about what happened, what you expected to happen, your device model, and operating system version. Screenshots are helpful too.
6. Billing and Subscriptions
Questions about premium features and billing:
Yes! Circlez is currently free to use with all core features available. We may introduce premium features in the future, but the essential experience of joining circles and making connections will always be free.
We're exploring premium features like advanced matching preferences, additional profile customization, and enhanced privacy controls. Any premium features will be optional - the core Circlez experience will remain free.
We'll notify all users through the app and email before introducing any premium features. You'll always have clear information about what's free vs. premium, and you can choose what works best for you.
