Terms of Service

You must be 18+ to use Circlez. By using the Service you confirm you are at least 18 and legally able to enter these Terms. One account per person. You agree to use accurate information and not impersonate anyone.

Non-dating mode. Users may choose a "Help Others" / organizer role to create and manage circles; this role does not access Explore or Chats.

You're responsible for all activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure (including OTP sent to your phone). You can delete your account any time from the app settings; deleting an account removes your profile and scheduled matches, though we may retain limited records as required by law and for safety (e.g., abuse prevention). Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

You are responsible for content you submit (photos, bio, messages, circle details). You represent you own it or have permission to share it and that it doesn't violate law or rights of others.

License you grant. Solely to operate and improve the Service, you grant Circlez a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (e.g., resize/encode), display, and distribute your content within Circlez and to our service providers. This license ends when your content is deleted from our systems.

Prohibited conduct includes: under-18 use; nudity or sexual content; harassment, hate, threats, or doxxing; impersonation or fraud; spam/scams; scraping; reverse engineering; and using Circlez for commercial solicitation. We may remove or restrict content or accounts that violate these Terms.

We do not run criminal background checks and can't guarantee user behavior. Use judgment when interacting with others and meeting in person (meet in public places, tell a friend, and consider video chat beforehand).

Moderation & tools. You can Block users and Report profiles/chats for review (e.g., spam, fake profile, harassment, nudity, hate, underage). We may take actions including content removal, temporary suspension, or permanent ban. Event circles auto-expire after their set end date. In emergencies, contact local authorities.

Some features may be offered as one-time purchases or auto-renewing subscriptions. Prices will be shown in-app before purchase. Payments are processed by the App Store; manage or cancel subscriptions in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Trials convert to paid unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Refunds are handled by Apple per App Store policies. We don't store payment card details.

Your privacy matters. See our Privacy Policy for data practices, including phone-number login, optional profile fields (e.g., target gender, religion, workplace), messaging, and safety moderation. We don't sell data or use it for third-party advertising.

Circlez, our logos, designs, and software are owned by Circlez (and its developer). Except for the limited license above, these Terms don't grant rights in our IP. If you send feedback, you grant us a free license to use it without restriction.

Circlez is provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties of fitness, non-infringement, or availability. To the maximum extent allowed by law, Circlez and its developer are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for more than the greater of (a) fees you paid to Circlez in the last 12 months or (b) USD $50. Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations; those limits apply only where permitted.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for violations or risk to users or the Service. After termination, provisions that by nature should survive (e.g., IP, disclaimers, limitations, governing law) do survive.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel, with courts in Tel Aviv–Jaffa having exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer laws in your country give you mandatory rights or forums—you keep those rights.

The Service may link to or rely on third-party services (e.g., hosting, push notifications). Their terms and privacy policies apply. Your purchase and use are also governed by your App Store's terms (e.g., Apple Media Services Terms).

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service or legal requirements. We'll post the new Terms and update the "Last updated" date. Material changes will be notified in-app or by email where feasible. If you continue using Circlez after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

If you believe content infringes your rights, contact support@circlez-app.com with details (your contact information, the content URL, your ownership statement, and a good-faith statement). We may remove content and/or notify the user.
