Terms of Service

You must be at least 18 years old to use Circlez. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement and are legally permitted to enter into these Terms. One account per person. You agree to provide accurate information and not impersonate others.

Non-dating mode: Users may choose a "Help Others" / organizer role to create and manage circles. This role does not allow access to Explore or private Chats.

You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your login credentials secure (including one-time passwords sent to your phone). You may delete your account at any time through the App. Deleting an account removes your profile and scheduled matches, though limited records may be retained for legal, safety, or fraud-prevention purposes. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

You are responsible for all content you submit (including photos, bios, messages, and circle details). You represent that you own or have permission to use such content.

License You Grant

You grant Circlez a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, modify (e.g., encode/resize), display, and distribute your content solely for operating and improving the Service. This license ends when the content is deleted from our systems.

Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Use Circlez if under 18
• Post illegal, sexual, harassing, hateful, or violent content
• Impersonate others or engage in fraud
• Spam, scrape, reverse-engineer, or exploit the App
• Use Circlez for commercial solicitation
• Misuse member data obtained through circle ownership

We may remove content or suspend or ban accounts that violate these rules.

We do not conduct criminal background checks and cannot guarantee user behavior. Use good judgment when interacting with others and meeting in person.

Moderation & Tools

You may block and report users or content. We may remove content, suspend accounts, or permanently ban users. Event circles automatically expire at their set end date. In emergencies, contact local authorities.

Some features may require payment. Prices are shown in-app. Payments are processed by Apple. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Refunds are handled by Apple. We do not store your payment card details.

Your privacy is important. Please review our Privacy Policy for details about how we collect, use, and protect your data.

6.1 Circle Visibility & Owner Access

When you join a circle, parts of your profile (such as your name, photos, age range, and bio) become visible to the circle owner for community management and moderation purposes (including reviewing join requests, preventing abuse, and enforcing rules).

Circle owners are strictly prohibited from using member information outside the Circlez platform, including for marketing, solicitation, scraping, or external communication. Violations may result in permanent removal.

We may log and review moderation-related profile access for safety and compliance.

Circlez, including its branding, design, and software, is owned by Circlez and its developer. These Terms do not grant you rights to our intellectual property except as necessary to use the Service. If you submit feedback, you grant us a free license to use it without restriction.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim all warranties to the extent permitted by law. Our total liability is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the last 12 months or (b) USD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; those limits apply where required.

You may stop using Circlez at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violations, risk to users, or legal reasons. Certain provisions (such as IP, disclaimers, and liability limits) survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Israel. Courts in Tel Aviv–Jaffa have exclusive jurisdiction, except where consumer protection laws require otherwise.

Circlez may rely on third-party services (e.g., hosting, analytics, notifications). Their policies apply. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's App Store Terms.

We may update these Terms. The updated version will be posted in the App with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use means acceptance.
